
I completed my Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Bastyr University in 2001. While there, I worked as a formulator in the Chinese Herbal Medicine Department and as a a clinical supervisor and adjunct instructor.
My post-graduate work includes extended clinical internships at Chengdu University Hospital and Shen Zhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I also completed a 2 year clinical apprenticeship 5-Element acupuncture. I have a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard University.
In 2008, I founded Moxa NW, a project that provides education and innovative healing tools to practitioners and their patients.
Community involvement: Board positions with Island Hospital in Anacortes, Skagit County Hospice, and the Northwest Vipassana Meditation Center.
Presentations: have been a featured Speaker at the Whatcom County Orthopedic Surgical Conference, New England Women’s Herbal Conference with Rosemary Gladstar and Traditions in Western Herbalism.
